Council of Negro Women's Endowment Fund for Educational Awards
In keeping with the council's theme, "Know thyself, learn more, and climb higher," this endowed Council of Negro Women's Endowment Fund for Educational Awards was established in 1981 by the Council of Negro Women of ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ. The purpose of the fund is to provide earnings annually for the assistance of eligible African-American students from Summit County attending The University of ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ. Selection of recipients is made by The Council of Negro Women's Scholarship Committee in concert with the Office of Student Financial Aid at The University of ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ. The Council of Negro Women of ºÚÁÏÊÓÆµ established this fund in memory of its founders.
